It’s official, Peyton is moving on. To quote my fellow contributor, Brain Heat, “Andrew Lock”. I agree.

   2. Browns: Robert Griffin, QB, Baylor

TRADE! To highest bidder, go the spoils. All that’s left is the price!

   3. Vikings: Matt Kalil, OT, USC

Best OT. Plug-in pass blocker.

4. 
   4. Rams (from Browns): Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State

“Home turf”/ Pro day workouts are becoming, almost, a charade. The bias is so in favor of the player, the results are questionable. Nevertheless, Bradford needs lots of help.

5. 
   5. Buccaneers: Morris Claiborne, DB, LSU

BPA and need. Claiborne moves like a cat. Of course, he will improve his 40 time on his pro day. Has any prospect ever run slower on his Pro Day?

   6. Redskins: Dontari Poe, NT, Memphis

The next generation DTs will not just be run stuffers. Defenses can now rush QBs down the throat! This changes the dynamics of the pocket. This development may eventually relegate the “pocket passer” to antiquity.

   7. Jaguars: Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa

Young OT will extend the tread of MJD tires. Will develop into a Pro Bowl pass protector. Blaine has too much talent to dismiss after a first season without a training camp.

   8. Dolphins: Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford

Packers let Matt Flynn become a free agent. I predict he takes his talents to South Beach. Caveat Emptor, Flynn could be the second coming of Kevin Kolb. Always an early run on OTs.

   9. Panthers: David DeCastro, G, Stanford

DeCastro is a dancing bear. The most complete and pro ready. The value of offensive interior line is increasing.

    10. Bills: Luke Kuechly, ILB, Boston College

A smart, fast, tackling machine, whose high character will allow him to naturally assimilate into the cold Buffalo void. WR Johnson re-signed.

    11. Chiefs: Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama

Running back value is on the decline, but some team will flinch. Chiefs trade out, or grab the best back in the draft. The day is nearing when Charles moves on. The transition begins employing running back by committee in 2012.

    12. Seahawks: Nick Perry, DE, USC

The deepest and most talented class in the Draft is DT/DE. More freaks than a circus! With “Skittles” in the bag, Pete gets some home cooking.

13. 13. Cardinals: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame

Great hands and faster than expected. Strong and can stretch the D. A rare talent.

    14. Cowboys: Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama

Pot charges were dropped. Jerry goes for the more physical CB to assist a poor Cowboy secondary. Jenkins is faster, but may be too soft?

    15. Eagles: Cordy Glenn, G, Georgia

They franchise DeSean. Now must keep Vick alive if they have any chance at making the playoffs.

    16. Jets: Michaels Brockers, DT, LSU

Brockers falls to the Green Machine. Finally, the Jets get back to building blocks.

17. 17. Bengals: Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama

Jenkins has too much talent to pass because of past personal issues. He checks out.

    18. Chargers: Kendall Wright, WR/KR, Baylor

Poor 40 at the Combine drops Wright behind Floyd. Vincent Jackson becomes a Free Agent!

19. 
    19. Bears: Alshon Jeffery, WR, South Carolina

Big, strong, possession receiver. Will work well with Cutler underneath the safeties.

20. 
    20. Titans: Quinton Coples, DE, North Carolina

Coples falls on to, or into, the lap of the Titans. Best or bust?

21. Bengals: Devon Still, DT, Penn State

Another beast with a freaky athletic skill set. Bengals welcomed him to the jungle. These guys are revolutionizing the position. Gotta have one.

22. Rams: (from Browns) Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan State

The run of monster DTs, that tested off the charts, continues.

23. Lions: Mark Barron, S, Alabama

Lions franchise Avil. Check the next box off their list

24. Steelers: Dont’a Hightower, ILB, Alabama

The proud Steelers got old quick and are in transition. They correctly moved the focus to Big Ben. Now it appears they are having second thoughts. Wallace may walk. First rebuild the defense. Hightower quiets the critics, for about a minute.

25. Broncos: Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M

If you truly believe that Tebow is an NFL QB, demographics suggest you are a middle class white male Republican, and Elway respectfully disagrees with you.

26. Texans: Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech

Lack of college production is system related not reflective of his abilities. His Pro Day confirmed his Combine measurable. Impressive.

27. Pats: Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State

Cox fills the hole left by the disappointing adventure with Haynesworth.

28. Packers: Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin

More than likely will lose their starting center to Free Agency. If so, Konz slides seamlessly into place.

29. Ravens: Melvin Ingram, DE, South Carolina

Edge rusher will fit very well into Ravens aging roster.

30. 49ers: Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State

I tried to mock a WR here, but the 1st round guys are gone. I tried to mock Tannehill here, but he won’t slide that far. Adams lands here after a poor Combine performance.

31. Pats: Courtney Upshaw, OLB, Alabama

Upshaw has been a disappointment so far in the testing process. He falls.

32. Giants: Zach Brown, OLB, North Carolina

Giants may need a super quick LB to chase more than Michael Vick or Tony Romo. If Washington moves up to draft RG3, the Giants will be competing in a division where all of their divisional opponents have exceptionally elusive QBs.
